  • 1/2 cup water or chicken broth.
  • Garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ºF.
  2. Add the crust. Line the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan with one of the crusts. Push it into the bottom and up on all sides.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz) Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup reduced-fat (2%) milk.
  • One package (12 ounces). Frozen mixed vegetables
  • thawed (approximately 2 1/4 cups).
  • 1 cup cubed cooked chicken or turkey.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of biscuit baking mix.

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. I mix well soup, veggies, and chicken in a 9-inch pie pan
  3. Next, I Combine milk, egg, and baking mix. Pour over the chicken mixture. I bake for 30 minutes or until golden.

Campbell’s cream of chicken pot pie recipe

Ingredients:

Chicken: I  use leftover turkey instead of chicken. Turkey Soup Pot Pie.

Cooking oil:  I use olive oil. But you may use any other light cooking oil.

Butter: I use unsalted sweet cream butter. If you use salted butter, reduce the amount of salt. You add by half a teaspoon.

All-purpose flour: Do not use cornstarch. It will drastically alter the flavour of mixtures.

Chicken base: This product is similar to chick

en bouillon. It can be obtained in grocery stores or online.

Chicken stock: Water can be replaced for chicken stock however, the flavour will be reduced.

Garlic: Fresh minced garlic is more flavorful than pre-packaged minced garlic.

Onion: I prefer yellow or sweet Vidalia onions.

Frozen green peas work well. The texture of canned peas could be more optimal.

Carrots: I use fresh or frozen, and work well. This dish works well with a bag of peas and carrots.

Nutmeg: Freshly grated nutmeg tastes best. I strongly advocate trying to nutmeg. The flavour is fantastic, and you only need a tiny sprinkle.

Direction:

  • Saute till cooked through. Then, I remove from the heat and put it aside.
  • Then, using the same big skillet, melt butter.
  • Sauté the onions for 3 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and cook for another minute. Then, sprinkle the flour over the onions and garlic. Stir until the mixture resembles peanut butter. But does not brown like a roux. You want it to retain a light golden colour.
  • Combine the chicken base, stock (or water), and heavy cream. Stir until thoroughly blended.
  • Return the chicken to the soup, along with any collected juices.
  • I add peas and carrots. Continue cooking on low until thoroughly heated.

Expert tip: Do not bring the soup to a boil after adding the cream. This may cause the cream to split. The phrase “split” refers to dairy curling and separating into curds and whey. The flour was added to the mixture. It helps to mitigate,
