Preparation of Chicken Long Rice

Step 1:Get the noodles ready

The bean thread noodles should be placed in a large bowl.  Then, fill the bowl with warm water and cover it. They need to soak for 20 minutes. for the noodles to fully absorb the water and soften and tenderize.

This is a crucial stage because the noodles must absorb the spices and savory taste. once the noodles have thoroughly absorbed. After draining the water, move them to a different basin.

Step 2 : Let the chicken cook

Fill a big pot with a small amount of vegetable oil. or a Dutch oven. After that, turn the heat up to medium-high. And cook them for 5 to 7 minutes. The consequence will be that the chicken will turn brown all over.

The recipe benefits from the chicken getting browned because of the improved flavor and texture obtained. After removing the chicken from the pot, put it aside.

Step 3: Melt the Aromas

Take the sesame oil to the same pot. After it becomes hot, add the onions and stir until they become soft, usually, in about three minutes, then remove them from the pot.

The onions themselves give a sweetness to the meal.

Step 4: Combine Ingredients

There is only the task of putting the brown chicken back into the pot. Mix the chicken broth and soy sauce so they are well combined. The mixture will then be set for 20 minutes for their thorough blending. You can do this for 20 minutes.

The expressions of the flavors in the chicken are increased by this. The soy sauce will give it a salty and robust flavor here.

Step 5: Add Noodles

Now you can add all the noodles to the pot. This time cook them until they feel soft and tender.

But it is better not to cook them too much. There is a chewiness in the noodles. You maybe like that in the food too.

Step 6: Season and Garnish

Taste your dish now. And in this way, salt and pepper as much as you need are added. Adjusting the seasoning after cooking is the tip that helps you to keep a balance of flavors.

Take a few green onions. And decorate the dish with it. The tree adds a feeling of airy, freshness, and comfort. Adding a sprinkle of food color enriched the look, making the last move.

Cook’s Notes:

  • Use a fresh chicken in this dish
